Paul Liva, M.D., is a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist & Cataract Surgeon at Hackensack Eye Care Center. Dr. Liva received his Medical Degree from the Universidad Autonoma De Guadalajara Medical School and completed a Residency in Ophthalmology at UMDNJ Hackensack Medical Center followed by a Fellowship at UMDNJ. At Hackensack Eye Surgery Center, Dr. Liva sees patients of all ages in need of routine eye exams for eyeglasses and contact lenses as well as eye care for diagnosis and treatment of cataracts, cataract surgery & lens implants, glaucoma, retina diseases and problems such as retinal detachment, age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and diabetic retinopathy
